RTI Board: Rikus loves India, and this edition carries another story of his Round Table adventures in this country, attending the RT India AGM. Another RTI Officer travelled this month, and that was Steve who attended and report on the RT Estonia 20th Anniversary. We then get to more serious stuff with the first of a series of articles on Membership Plans and Initiatives, where we share the plan of RT Belgium, and introduce the RTI Shop 2010 with a must-have item for all collectors out there, the RTI Cufflink Box containing 60 pairs of cufflinks ! We continue the series of articles on the RTI World Meeting 2010 (www.rti2010.info) with detailed explanations on how to book your accommodation and register for the meeting.
Service Projects: Please pay attention to the appeal from assistance from our small – but busy, member association, RT Seychelles, and consider joining forces with RT Nairobi District 23 in their commendable Mother and Child project.
Events: New in this edition, we are devoting 3 pages to a group of Associations from a given region: spot on Scandinavian Associations this cold month of January: RT Denmark, RT Iceland, RT Sweden and RT Norway (call next month for RT Suomi Finland). Before closing on RT Barsinghausen 225 Charter in Germany, you will have the opportunity to read about RT Hungary Tabler Tennis Open event, the testimony of a British Tabler who recommends spending Valentine’s Day at the RT Italy International Round Table Carnival in Venice, and, this is not so common, about the service project initiative of RT France Area 22 Reunion Island with their Wings of Hope project !
