This trip will be making pit stops at various Air Ambulance stations throughout the UK which will inevitably generate a great variety of local PR both for Air Ambulance and our local Round Table clubs.
There are only 3 wheels on my wagon and I am going the wrong way down the UK. The Tuc Tuc has a top speed of 33 mph and I believe I will be able to average 20mph on the event.
I am not doing a straight bottom to top run, but doing it the wrong way around Scotland to Cornwall. But with this twist I will be stopping at as many Air Ambulance base as I can, so change a mere 900 mile run to a 1700mile event.
I am planning on taking 14 days that 6 hours driving every day. Read my blog here and follow my progress live on the map here
We have negotiated a special charity discount and from Green Conversions the importer of the Tuc Tuc. Our Tuc Tuc can carry up to 2 passengers!
Green Conversions Ltd have allowed us to used their trailer to transport the Tuc Tuc around country during trip and for promotions. They have also lent me their spare Tuc Tuc for promotional events. They will also provide me with all the spare that a may required for such a trip. Eg tyres etc.
Sponsorship for the Tuc Tuc event
I am very grateful to all the sponsors for this adventure.
- Erocopter UK who have purchased the Tuc Tuc.
- Spie Matthew Hall who have provided the support vehicle and fuel.
- Green Conversions Ltd for trailer and spare and the very low purchase price.
- Fleetsmart who have provide the commercial track and sat nav systems for the Tuc Tuc and fuel.

At the end of the Round Table year we intend to give the Tuc Tuc to Air Ambulance Charities or sell and any money raised from this sale as well as any sponsorship that is raised from the event will be split between the 17 Air Ambulance Charities.
In event of any large donation been made. Will ask the donator were they would like the money to go. i.e. their local or regional air ambulance. Or equal shared to all air ambulance charities covered by AAAC.
The Tuc Tuc is going to be raced around the TT course by top sidecar team John Holden and Andrew Winkle.
They have already set 3rd fastest lap ever around TT for a 3 wheeler - Topping 146 mph.
Can they cope with the high speed of our Round Table India Machine????
Find out this June @ TT!
Thanks to Eurocopter uk & Spie Matthew Hall
