I would ask that you strongly consider my Presidential Charity for the year, that being The Association of Air Ambulance Charities (AAAC). These 16 charities are spread throughout the UK and rely exclusively on fund raising and donations to keep them running and saving lives.
The work they do in providing timely response with trained Doctors and Paramedics within the 'Golden Hour' has contributed to saving many lives over the past 21 years, recently and most famously that of Top Gear's Presenter, Richard Hammond.
I am conscious of Tablers desire to raise funds locally and ensure that those funds are used for the benefit of their own community. To this end we are working with the National Associations of Air Ambulance Charities to ensure your wishes are honoured. The fund raising pack enclosed contains the details of the regional charities together with the points of contact.
For the first time the Presidents of Round Table, 41 Club and Tangent are coordinating our National Charity appeals and fundraising efforts to support this very worthy cause. I sincerely hope that you can build relationships and work with your respective 41 and Tangent clubs on joint projects. I am also pleased that Ladies' Circle are have also added their name to back and support our joint efforts in this project.
There are 22 Helicopters in service for the 16 Air Ambulance charities, collectively undertaking 17,500 missions each a year; 40% Road Traffic Collisions, 24% Other Medical Emergencies and 3% Hospital Transfers. Collectively the Air Ambulances are the busiest voluntary emergency services in the country. To find out more, please visit their website: http://www.airambulancecharities.co.uk

They are in need your help, I hope you will consider offering your support to them.
