Margate host barn dance

On Saturday 6th September 2008 Margate Round Table 347 hosted a barn dance at Haine Farm, Ramsgate.
The night started of with a hog roast on arrival followed by a delightful selection of gateaux’s and desserts and what better way to loose those previously digested calories than to Dow De Dow the night away firstly by instruction then collating all the moves into one kind of indescribable rhythmic, break dancing jig.

Contraband continued to delight us with there music throughout the evening and our Area 16 Chairman Mr Tony Durham continued to surprise us with his authentic Yeah Huh and his crazy legs conga.

As the drink flowed our dancing became even more colourful and yet more promising to those of us you were drinking believing that a rival to Saturday Night Fever was possible in the form of Barn Dancing. Along with a Raffle our Chairman was delighted to announce a profit of £360.00. A good night enjoyed by all.
